Halal Food in New Delhi

Delhi ninth highest populated city in the world and the second metropolis of India with more than 12.25 million inhabitants hosts more than 13 percent Muslim population. They like to visit Halal foods and the restaurants due to their religious obligations. Besides the local population, foreign and domestic Muslim tourists generally encounter the confusion about Halal authenticity. Devoid of information about the restaurants and their location make the problem. Considering the needs, prominent Halal joints like Fast Trax, Karims, Al Baik, Tunde Kabab are analysed herein with the details of their products.

Tunde Kabab-Lucknow is an another famous family entity for over a hundred years started by Mohammad Osman Haji in Lucknow but now has the branches across the country including Delhi. Tunde Kabab featured in some of the most prestigious travel magazines of the world including The Lonely Planet and The New York Post. Al Baik at Community Center in New Friends Colony is a famous eating joint due to its Shawarma a Lebanese dish and listed among popular joints in Delhi. 

Apart from the above giant, several unorganized but the delicious fame Halal restaurants are located in to the Muslim dominated areas like in Old Delhi near Jama Masjid, Nizamuddin near Dargah and New Friends community center near Jamia Millia Islamia University. Restaurant clubs within the campus in Indian Islamic cultural center, Jamia Millia, Jamia Hamdard and in old Delhi are also known to their verities of Halal recipes.
